The south east of Western Australia hides this great jewel, the Cape Le Grand National Park. This is an amazing part of the world, and well worth the drive from Perth. It may well be 630 odd kilometres away but once you get here, you won’t be disappointed. My sister and I decided to do a long weekend down here and decided to spend a night camping in the National Park at a small campsite beside a beautiful bay, named Lucky Bay. This beach has the finest whitest sand, and the water is crystal clear. And the best part? Kangaroos on the beach! Added bonus if you’re really lucky? The Lucky Bean will visit while you’re there offering ice-creams and beverages (hot and cold)! Also in the National park are various bays to visit, including Hellfire bay (and Little Hellfire bay) and Rossiter Bay.
