Hi everyone! It’s definitely been a long time in between post but I’m starting this up again because I have some exciting news…

I finally made a website!

Up until now I have been using Facebook to post various photos of ‘that time I got up at 4:30am to shoot a magnificent sunrise’ or ‘that time I went on the holiday of a lifetime – HELLO MALDIVES’! But now, I have made the decision to showcase some of my favourite photos, and others that have been well received on my Instagram account ( and make them available for purchase as well!

After much deliberation and trials of various hosting websites (and by various I mean two – Photoshelter and SmugMug) I made the decision to go with SmugMug as my host. Realistically the ONLY thing that initially put me off SmugMug was the fact that they don’t offer an Australian printer and therefore for any of my clients wishing to purchase prints and products will have to go through Bay Photo, the US printer I chose. While these guys are very good (I have received FREE samples of their prints courtesy of SmugMug) one day I would love to be able to choose an Australian printer, and have made my wishes known to SmugMug along with thousands of other Aussies. One day…

I digress. I found SmugMug really simple to navigate and organise the way I wanted it. For someone who has never done any web design I loved the process and the ability to tweak the little things I wasn’t happy with. The SmugMug team were very good at answering my silly questions and this also really helped me get going! If you’re interested in building your own website, I have a 20% off code for SmugMug at the bottom of the page, but be sure to use the free trial first and get an idea of whether it is for you.

So now I have a beautiful website of my own if you want to check it out, head to:

It’s early days guys, but I’m aiming to keep the quality high, add to the galleries as I continue my travels, and hopefully sell a print here or there!
